1. Pumpkin Pie — The best pie. I’ve not had sweet potato pie, but that seems similar
  2. Key Lime Pie—The world’s most under-rated pie. Many pie shops don’t even make it, but it’s pretty easy to make your own.
  3. Blueberry Pie — If you disagree, you haven’t had a good one. Canned blueberry pie filling is terrible.
  4. Various Fruit Tarts — All of these are mostly the same. I guess I prefer raspberry.
  5. Peanut Butter Pie — The recipe for this is in here; I can’t vouch for other recipes.
  6. Cherry Pie — Canned filling is fine for this one. Actually, the ease with which a cherry pie can come together influences how high it ranks on the list. It’s the perfect second pie: quick to make and generally popular.
  7. Derby Pie — A Louisville, KY thing, served during the Kentucky Derby. It’s similar to Chess Pie, but with chocolate and nuts in it.
  8. Apple Pie — Precisely mediocre pie. Make an apple crisp instead.
  9. **Strawberry Pie—**Strawberries are good but work much better in a cake-based application than a piecrust-based one,
  10. Chocolate Pie
  11. Coconut Cream Pie
  12. Pecan Pie
  13. Lemon Meringue Pie—I don’t like meringue, and while I do like lemon, I don’t think it’s a flavor that pairs well with pie crust.
  14. Peach Pie — much worse than it should be, for some reason.
  15. Mincemeat Pie
